Toronto Maple Leafs forward Bobby McMann is headed to Injured Reserve with what head coach Sheldon Keefe described as a "lingering injury." The 27-year-old has appeared in 23 games with the Leafs this season in fourth-line duty and has recorded two goals and seven points in 23 games in 9:22 of average ice time. He debuted with one assist across 10 games with the Maple Leafs last season. However, McMann has fared much better in the minors, where he recorded 21 goals and 29 points in 30 games last season, and he has two goals and three points in six games with the AHL's Toronto Marlies this season before his promotion. The hope is McMann will be ready following the upcoming All-Star break and bye week.--Brenton Kemp
