Blue Jays Interested In Brandon Drury
6 years agoThe Toronto Blue Jays are interested in New York Yankees infielder Brandon Drury, according to sources. Toronto general manager Ross Atkins comes from the Indians executive tree and Cleveland evaluators always liked Drury. The Indians almost traded for Drury just before the Yankees did last February. Drury could also be part of a bigger package that would sent Blue Jays starting pitcher J.A. Happ to the Yankees. The 25-year-old is hitting an abysmal .176 on the year with one homer and seven RBI, so he hasn't been fantasy relevant. However, his value could perk up with a trade to Toronto if he could play every day.
