Blake Snell Starting Saturday
San Diego Padres starting pitcher Blake Snell (illness) will be on the bump for Saturday's meeting against the Washington Nationals. Snell has been on the shelf for over a week due to a bout with gastroenteritis resulting from food poisoning. Nonetheless, the southpaw's return can't come soon enough, primarily with the team dealing with injuries throughout its rotation. Although the 28-year-old hasn't fared too well this year, currently sitting on a 3-3 record and a 4.99 ERA throughout 16 starts, he remains a relatively viable option in most fantasy formats, especially with 93 strikeouts to his credit.
