Blake Snell Makes First Start Back From DL
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Blake Snell (shoulder) made his first start coming back from his shoulder injury. He would last four innings allowing one run. He would end up with a no-decision after the 59 pitch effort. It had already been established that he would be limited in his first outing so the effort was likely to be considered a success. Snell has been the best pitcher for the Rays this season. He has been 12-5 with a 2.27 ERA and a .190 batting average allowed. He should be owned in most leagues and his owners can hope that he is able to stretch out his pitch count in the next outing.
