Los Angeles Kings forward Blake Lizotte (lower body) has resumed skating on his own, but there is still no timetable for his return. The young forward suffered a lower-body injury against the Carolina Hurricanes on Jan. 15 and has yet to return to practice. Prior to his injury, the 26-year-old had taken a sizeable step back offensively. He recorded just five goals and nine points across 34 games after tallying a career-high 11 goals and 34 points across 81 games last season. The St. Cloud State product has had his ice time drop to a career-low 11:05 this season, a notable hit from his 12:57 figure from just last season. Even when healthy, he may be squeezed out of the lineup with Viktor Arvidsson (back) set to make his season debut at some point during the team's current four-game road trip.--Brenton Kemp
