Blake Jarwin - Week 6 Outlook for Fantasy Football
3 years agoDallas Cowboys tight end Blake Jarwin is approaching fantasy irrelevance. He was expected to be the top tight end for the Cowboys before the season started, but ended up sharing snaps with Dalton Schultz before being thoroughly outplayed in every game. Through the first four weeks, Jarwin and Schultz were seeing almost the same number of routes and targets, but in Week 5, Jarwin played on only 40% of the team's offensive snaps while Schultz led the team in targets. Jarwin, meanwhile, did not have a ball thrown his way. His best finish this season was an overall TE18 finish in Week 4 when he scored his only touchdown of the year so far. He may end up developing some kind of support role and should see a target or two going his way, but he's a zero-floor option without much of a ceiling. Fantasy managers can let him go in all but the deepest leagues.
