Blake Griffin Dominates Against Clippers
6 years agoDetroit Pistons power forward Blake Griffin laid it all out against his former team on Saturday, scoring a game-high 44 points in a 109-104 win over the Clippers. He shot 13-for-23 from the field, including 5-for-13 from downtown in his return to the lineup after being rested on Thursday against Sacramento. Griffin, who was 13-for-14 from the line, also had eight rebounds, five assists, three steals and one block in the game. The Pistons take on Utah next against whom Griffin had a 34-point, 10-rebound double-double on Jan. 5. It's not a great matchup against a good defensive team, especially on the road, but Griffin has already had success against the Jazz this season, so he should be set for another productive night.
