As one league source explained it, former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is believed to be done with "big-market media," making him more inclined to go a team like the Atlanta Falcons. It could have played a big part in the Dallas Cowboys retaining head coach Mike McCarthy and the Philadelphia Eagles retraining Nick Sirianni, as there was belief in some league circles that Dallas and Philadelphia expressed interest in Belichick, but he didn't reciprocate. But it could be harder to win in Atlanta, and while it was looking like Belichick was the favorite to become the Falcons' next head coach, they still haven't hired him and have brought in plenty of other candidates for interviews. If Atlanta does hire Belichick, the next question will become whether the future Hall of Famer will also control football operations and have control of personnel decisions like he did in New England.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
