Bengals Could Run A Lot Of Four-Receiver Sets

The Cincinnati Bengals depth at wide receiver and head coach Zac Taylor's de-emphasis on the tight end position could mean that the team will use a lot of four-wide receiver sets in 2020. John Ross is likely the team's fourth wideout despite standing out at times in 2019, and Auden Tate will likely be the No. 5 behind A.J. Green, Tyler Boyd and rookie Tee Higgins. Ross, the No. 7 overall pick in 2017, can still take the top off a defense with his speed, but he has struggled with injuries so far in the NFL. Green's health will be key, too, but if all of these wideouts are healthy, rookie quarterback Joe Burrow could thrive sooner than later.
