5 years agoThe Chicago Cubs are being forced to consider the possibility that infielder/outfielder Ben Zobrist will miss the rest of the season while away from the team due to personal matters that have involved divorce filings by him and his wife. Zobrist has now been away from the Cubs for three full weeks. Kyle Schwarber's two-week run in the leadoff spot is a direct result of Zobrist being absent, manager Joe Maddon said. The Cubs are also hitting .174 (25-for-144) in 21 games without Zobrist with runners in scoring position. You shouldn't wait around for Zobrist to return in mixed leagues at this point. He was hitting .241/.343/.253 with no homers, 12 runs and 10 RBI in his 83 at-bats.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
