The San Jose Sharks have claimed center Barclay Goodrow off waivers. The 31-year-old was waived by the New York Rangers on Tuesday following a disappointing 12-point campaign. Goodrow heads back to where his NHL career began 10 years ago. He skated his first six NHL seasons with the Sharks, registering 71 points (26 goals, 45 assists) in 268 games. The penalty-killing specialist went on to become a two-time Stanley Cup champion with the Tampa Bay Lightning before landing in New York on a six-year, $21.85 million contract in 2021. With close to 600 career games under his belt, Goodrow will add some good veteran presence to a young Sharks team.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
