Baker Mayfield Has Poor Showing In Week 11
Baker Mayfield completed 21 of 33 pass attempts for 196 yards and two interceptions in a Week 11 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, adding 12 rushing yards on two carries. Mayfield struggled, to say the least, in his first start since Week 5 and did nothing to earn QB1 duties going forward. PJ Walker (ankle) is dealing with a high-ankle sprain and may miss a few more games, but it's becoming increasingly likely that Sam Darnold sees the field at some point this season. If Mayfield retains the starting job next week, he will have to face the stout Denver Broncos defense before a Week 13 bye. He should remain on fantasy waiver wires in most formats.

Baker Mayfield Has Low Passing Volume In Loss
Baker Mayfield completed 15 of 18 pass attempts for 185 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions during Sunday's playoff loss to the Washington Commanders. He also took one sack and rushed for 23 yards. It was an uncharacteristically quiet showing for Mayfield, who hadn't completed fewer than 18 passes since Week 2 of the regular season. With that said, fantasy managers and bettors have to be pleased with his high completion rate and overall clean performance as he didn't turn the ball over. Mayfield finished the 2024 campaign with the NFC's most passing touchdowns, but he also led the whole league in interceptions. His high passing output keeps him in the mid-range QB1 conversation for 2025 fantasy football.

Baker Mayfield Remains Favorable Option For Sunday
Baker Mayfield put together an excellent regular season that included 4,500 passing yards and over 40 passing touchdowns. Now, Mayfield looks to keep it going during Sunday's Wild-Card game against the Washington Commanders. Mayfield threw for nearly 300 yards with four touchdowns during their last meeting with Washington in Week 1. Obviously, that was a long time ago, but Mayfield has shown no signs of slowing down with multiple touchdown passes in each of his last five games. Taking Mayfield in DFS contests does come with some risk because of turnovers. Mayfield has one turnover or more in five of his last six games. Despite that, this is a plus-matchup for Mayfield which could make it worth the gamble.

Baker Mayfield Leads Impressive Comeback To Clinch Division Title
Baker Mayfield completed 21 of 32 passes for 221 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception during Sunday's Week 18 victory over the New Orleans Saints. He also took one sack and rushed nine times for 68 yards on the ground. The Buccaneers fell into an early 13-3 deficit with a playoff spot on the line, but Mayfield led three touchdown drives in the second half to vault Tampa Bay over New Orleans. Along the way, he added 89 yards to Mike Evans' ledger, bringing the veteran receiver over 1,000 yards for the 11th consecutive season. Mayfield was a top-five fantasy quarterback this season, cementing himself as a premier NFL starter despite his 18 turnovers.

Baker Mayfield Remains Elite Option For Week 18
Baker Mayfield is coming off a stellar performance against the Carolina Panthers last week. Mayfield threw for 359 yards with five touchdowns and zero interceptions in the blowout win last weekend. The 29-year-old now looks to end his 2024-2025 regular season on a high note with a plus-matchup against the New Orleans Saints. The last meeting between these teams Mayfield threw for 325 yards with four touchdowns. The Saints are banged up on both sides of the ball and this is a must-win game for the Bucs. Fantasy managers who have championship games this weekend should consider Mayfield a QB1. Otherwise, Mayfield is probably an expensive, but reliable DFS option for this weekend.
