1 year agoMiami Marlins outfielder Avisail Garcia (back) is still working out and running up to 80 percent, but he hasn't resumed baseball activities yet, and there is still no timetable for his return, according to MLB.com. The 32-year-old has been on the injured list since May 2 after suffering from back tightness. Garcia began a rehab assignment in late May but endured a setback after playing in four games. Across just 22 contests this season, the 12-year veteran owns a .188/.243/.333 slash line with three homers, six runs, eight RBI, and one stolen base. He struggled in 2022 to the tune of a .582 OPS, and fantasy managers in almost all leagues can drop Garcia for a healthy option on the waiver wire.--Spencer Seguin
