Avisail Garcia Avoids Serious Injury
2 years agoMiami Marlins outfielder Avisail Garcia (wrist) was removed early during Sunday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. The right-handed slugger was hit by a 93 mph fastball in the wrist which led to his exit from the ballgame. Luckily, Garcia has avoided serious injury and has been diagnosed with a right wrist contusion. The X-rays came back negative, so the 31-year-old should be able to return to the lineup within the next few days.
