Toronto Maple Leafs center Auston Matthews finished with three goals and two assists in Saturday's dominant 9-2 victory against the Ducks. Matthews only needed 14:52 of ice time to record his second consecutive hat trick, while the five-point night was the first of his NHL career. Matthews' six hat tricks are the highest total in a season since Penguins Hall of Fame center Mario Lemieux had six in 1995-96, and the Maple Leafs forward is the 10th player in NHL history to score at least six hat tricks in a single season. Matthews has scored a league-leading 48 goals and 71 points through 52 games to put him on pace for his first 70-goal campaign.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
