Austin Slater Doing Infield Work
San Francisco Giants outfielder Austin Slater will begin to take grounders at second base and third as manager Bruce Bochy is looking to boost the team’s offense versus left-handed pitching. Slater has been off to a nice start with a .300 batting average and three stolen bases over his first 30 at-bats. Owners should keep their eye on Slater, as more starts could lead to him being valuable in NL-only and mixed leagues.
