Austin Seibert Continues Excellent Campaign In Week 8
5 months agoWashington Commanders kicker Austin Seibert had another productive afternoon as he went 4-for-5 on field goals in their victory over the Chicago Bears. His lone miss came off a blocked attempt from 51 yards out. His longest conversion was from 47 yards out. Since joining Washington in Week 2, Seibert has only missed two field goal attempts and has been perfect from within 49 yards. Fantasy managers should continue to view the 27-year-old as a high-end fantasy option, given how impressive the Washington offense has looked. He should remain locked into all starting lineups going forward.

Austin Seibert Struggles In Return
4 months agoWashington Commanders kicker Austin Seibert struggled in his return on Sunday afternoon in their loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Seibert went 2-for-3 on field goal attempts and 0-for-2 on extra points. He connected on his field goals from 46 and 51 yards and missed one from 51 yards as well. He also missed the game-tying extra point in the final minutes. Seibert has yet to miss an extra point this season before this game, so fantasy managers should not be overly concerned. In addition, Seibert has yet to miss a field goal attempt from within 49 yards. Despite the rough showing this weekend, fantasy managers should still view Seibert as a solid K1 in all formats heading into a Week 13 tilt against the Tennessee Titans.

Austin Seibert Listed As Questionable, Trending In Right Direction
4 months agoWashington Commanders kicker Austin Seibert (hip) is listed as questionable for Sunday's tilt against the Dallas Cowboys. Seibert has been sidelined for the past two weeks but was able to log a full practice on Friday, which is a positive sign of his availability for this divisional matchup. Nicki Jhabvala of the Washington Post reported that the kicker is "trending in the right way." Fantasy managers should continue monitoring his status over the weekend if he faces a setback. If Seibert can suit up, he should be viewed as a high-end kicking option facing a struggling Dallas defense. If not, Zane Gonzalez could be worth a look in deeper formats, given the favorable matchup.

Austin Seibert Trending In The Right Direction
4 months agoWashington Commanders kicker Austin Seibert (hip) is "trending in the right way," according to head coach Dan Quinn. The 28-year-old has been sidelined over the past two weeks with a hip injury but is shaping up to have a good chance to return to action this weekend. This week, Seibert remained a limited participant during practice. Fantasy managers should pay close attention to his status during Friday's session as it may provide clarity on his availability. In his absence, Zane Gonzalez took over starting duties. Before this injury, Seibert was enjoying a nice breakout campaign as he went 25-for-27 on attempts and a perfect 27-for-27 on extra points. If he can return to action on Sunday, fantasy managers should view him as a high-end option in all formats, as he is facing a struggling Dallas defense.
