Austin Romine Drives In Three Runs In Baltimore Victory
After New York Yankees catcher Kyle Higashioka started the first game of Monday’s doubleheader, catcher Austin Romine returned to the starting lineup for the second game. He would have a terrific game, drilling a two-run home run in the sixth before doubling in New York’s ninth run of the game in the ninth inning. With Gary Sanchez inching closer towards a return, Romine has continued to be a solid replacement as a starter. In July, he’s hitting .286 with the three RBI he drove in today.
