Austin Riley Goes 3-For-4 In Thursday's Loss
2 years agoAtlanta Braves third baseman Austin Riley had a solid game in a losing effort against the Philadelphia Phillies on Thursday. He went 3-for-4 with three singles and a run scored in the game. Riley has been in the midst of a bit of a power drought lately. He's gone 12 straight games without a home run. His season-long numbers still look strong overall as he was having no problems with his power swing prior to the midpoint of June. Through 75 games on the year, he's slashing .257/.326/.503 with 18 home runs, 43 RBI and 40 runs. With his 97th percentile average exit velocity (93.4 mph), expect for him to continue going yard again soon.
