Austin Meadows With Big Game Friday
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Austin Meadows showed the potential that had people raving about him Friday versus Toronto. He came in as a pinch-hitter and would go 3-for-3 with two runs scored and three driven in. Meadows would even steal his first base with the Rays. Meadows was a key piece in the trade that sent starter Chris Archer to the Pirates this summer. As Rotoballer's own Keith Hernandez speculated, the outfielder hit an impressive .344/.396/.771 with 10 homers and 22 RBI in 27 games with Durham and should be a part of the team's outfield mix in 2019. He might see some action to close out the year, but he's not much of a fantasy target with so few games left.
