6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates outfielder Austin Meadows will be in left field and bat second Thursday. The Bucs prospect is hitting .323 in 27 games this year. Meadows will get the majority of the playing time while Corey Dickerson is on the family medical leave list. This will be Meadows' opportunity to break into the four-man outfield the Pirates have, but he will need to produce against right-handed pitchers. He will have that chance Thursday against Diamondbacks starter Zack Godley.--Aaron
