1 year agoColorado Rockies left-hander Austin Gomber left his Monday start against the Atlanta Braves with an apparent injury. Gomber was visited on the mound by the trainer during the third inning after getting two outs in the frame, although it is still unclear what the exact injury is that Gomber is dealing with. The veteran was replaced on the mound by Karl Kauffmann, who got the final out of the third inning. Gomber finished the night having allowed two runs on four hits over 2 2/3 innings while striking out one and walking two.
