6 years agoLos Angeles Chargers alternate running back Austin Ekeler has made his living as a change of pace from starter Melvin Gordon, but he may get to play a more central role against Buffalo in Week 2. LA blew out the Bills last year, and Buffalo looked even worse in Week 1 of this season as they got drilled by the Ravens. If the Chargers can open up the score early, Ekeler may see an increased workload to limit risk for Gordon. If that's the case, Ekeler could turn in a huge game. He's still officially a back-up and definitely not start-worthy in any leagues besides deep ones, but he could surprisingly lead an owner to a win this week.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
