8 months agoAustin Cindric got one good lap in but a lot of his practice laps were slow. The Team Penske driver was 0.599 seconds off in practice. He could not qualify into the final group on Saturday and ended up 21st. With laps ticking off around 15-16 seconds, this race will go by pretty quick. Bristol Motor Speedway is a 0.533-mile track. Yes, 500 laps seem to race by. Cindric did not have much success in his two races on the concrete. He finished 20th and 32nd. Also he went negative on place differential. Cindric's lap averages in practice were 31st and around 16.5 to 16.6 seconds. That is not a good sign. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
