1 year agoThe Detroit Pistons have drafted Ausar Thompson with the fifth overall pick of the 2023 NBA Draft. Thompson owns the first two Finals MVP awards and the first regular season MVP award ever in Overtime Elite history. The 20-year-old averaged 16.3 points, 6.9 rebounds, 6.1 assists, 1.3 blocks, and 2.7 steals per game across 16 games. In a cool showing for the family, the Thompson twins have been selected with back-to-back picks early in this year's draft.
