Braves Release Ezequiel Carrera

The Atlanta Braves released Ezequiel Carrera on Thursday after an uninspiring Triple-A stint that saw him carry a pitiful .146 average over 82 at-bats. The former Toronto Blue Jays outfielder has seen some success at the major league level, which is evidenced by his lifetime .262 average. In terms of fantasy implications, there is not much to report about because Carrera should be far away from any fantasy roster. Perhaps a new team shows interest in him and a change of scenery does him some good.
