Astros Officially Agree With Robinson Chirinos
6 years agoUpdating a previous report, the Houston Astros officially agreed to a one-year deal with free-agent catcher Robinson Chirinos on Monday, pending a physical. Chirinos played the last six seasons with the Rangers and should be Houston's primary catcher in 2019 alongside Max Stassi. The 34-year-old had 18 home runs, 65 RBI and a .757 OPS in 113 games last year and has value in single-catcher leagues for his power on an even better team.
