2 years agoThe Houston Astros claimed left-handed relief pitcher Matt Gage off waivers from the Toronto Blue Jays on Monday. The Astros announced the move in a tweet from the team's official Twitter account on Monday morning. Gage previously made his Major League debut for the American League East club this past season, throwing 13 innings in 11 appearances. He'll provide the Astros with some additional bullpen depth heading into the 2023 season. As of now, the only other left-handed pitchers on Houston's 40-man roster are starter Framber Valdez and fellow relievers Blake Taylor and Parker Mushinski.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
