Vancouver Canucks goaltender Arturs Silovs earned the win on Sunday when the club beat the Anaheim Ducks by a 3-2 score. The Latvian netminder turned aside 20 of the 22 shots he faced (.909 save percentage) in the winning effort, which was his first NHL appearance of the season after getting five outings with the Canucks in the 2022-23 campaign. The 23-year-old has been solid in his limited NHL duty, posting a 2.62 goals-against average and a .908 Sv% in six appearances, four of which have resulted in wins. Silovs has also posted a 2.74 GAA and a .907 Sv% across 33 appearances with AHL Abbotsford this season. The Canucks pace the Pacific Division with a 46-20-8 record on the season.--Brenton Kemp
