3 years agoCincinnati Reds manager David Bell said that relief pitcher Art Warren (oblique) could be out for three to six weeks with his oblique injury. Oblique injuries usually require an extended stay on the injured list for pitchers, so this shouldn't come as a huge surprise. Warren has been excellent in relief for the Reds this year, posting a 1.88 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 21/6 K/BB in 14 1/3 innings out of the bullpen in his first year in Cincinnati. His elite 36.2 percent strikeout rate is attractive, but Warren only deserves consideration in deeper saves/holds leagues when he returns from the injured list in the second half of the season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
