Aroldis Chapman To Make Another Rehab Appearance
2 years agoNew York Yankees relief pitcher Aroldis Chapman (Achilles) will make another rehab appearance for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday before he's activated from the injured list. Chapman has two strikeouts in two scoreless innings in his two rehab outings for Double-A Somerset so far, and his return is right around the corner. Even though Clay Holmes has been much better in a closing role for the Yanks in the ninth inning, Chapman is expected to return as the team's primary closer once he comes off the injured list. Still, Holmes will pitch in high-leverage situations and should remain rostered in fantasy leagues. The 34-year-old Chapman obviously will be a must-start as the closer for the best team in baseball.
