Aroldis Chapman Bounces Back, Records Save
5 years agoJust about 24 hours after blowing his third save in six tries, New York Yankees closer Aroldis Chapman once again entered Target Field for a save opportunity. With the Yankees seeking a series win, they went right back to their closer, who recorded a very loud out that nearly left the park. After walking a batter, however, the All-Star managed to pitch well enough to secure the save, his 26th of the season, third-most in all of baseball. Chapman is currently undergoing a perilous time with the Yankees, as his ERA 9.50 for the month prior to this game.
