2 years agoAt 12 straight wins, Arnold Allen finds himself in prime position for a future title shot. Allen would have liked a more clear-cut victory on Saturday, but he picked up a second-round TKO just seconds into the round after the referee called a stop in the action. Near the end of the first round, Calvin Kattar landed badly on his right leg but was allowed to continue by the ring-side doctor. Regardless of the stoppage due to an injury, Allen looked to have been in control of the first round and should seriously be considered a title contender in the future.--Matt Bricker
