1 year agoAric Almirola narrowly missed out on the pole position for Saturday's Coke Zero Sugar 400. The Stewart-Haas Racing driver settled for a spot outside of Row 1 from his teammate Chase Briscoe. Almirola has not had the best of seasons in his No. 10 Ford. He does not have a single top five result. Despite this, Almirola often finds a way to run well at Daytona International Speedway. An accident last year derailed his attempt to win at the summer race. The year before was an unscheduled pit stop. Placements of 21st and 14th are truly not accurate when it comes to the speed of this Ford. Could he win? Anything is possible. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
