6 years agoThe Arizona Diamondbacks are taking their closer decision down to the wire this year, with relief pitchers Archie Bradley and Greg Holland the candidates. Holland's velocity has been down in spring training, but the team thinks he's fine and he'll pick it up in the regular season. Bradley missed an outing with neck stiffness but has regained his curveball that he wasn't able to throw in 2018 due to a fingernail issue. Holland has more experience but is also a much more volatile fantasy option. He had a league-leading 41 saves in 2017 for the Rockies but had a 4.66 ERA and only three saves with two teams last season. Bradley is much more polished at this point as a late-inning reliever, but the D-backs might prefer to use him in high-leverage situations before the ninth frame.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
