Aqib Talib Out 4-6 Weeks
6 years agoUpdating a previous report, Los Angeles Rams cornerback Aqib Talib (ankle) suffered a high ankle sprain in the Week 3 win against the Chargers and is expected to be out four to six weeks, according to a source informed of the situation. Head coach Sean McVay said Talib will likely need surgery. That means that the potent combination of Talib and Marcus Peters will be out for at least a month and maybe more. While LA's defense/special teams will remain a strong fantasy unit, these injuries are a big blow to their overall upside. Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins and his receivers might have an easier go of it this Thursday night.
