The NHL Players' Association has announced that veteran goaltender Antti Raanta has ended his NHL career but will look to continue to play in Europe. The Finnish netminder enjoyed a 277-game career in the league, posting a 139-80-29 record with 20 shutouts. He allowed 2.48 goals with a .915 save percentage. Raanta, who turned 35 in May, went 12-7-2 with the Carolina Hurricanes in 2023-24 before finishing the campaign in the AHL. Across 11 seasons, Raanta also had stints with the Chicago Blackhawks, New York Rangers, and Arizona Coyotes. During his debut campaign with the Hurricanes in 2021-22, he won the William M.
