Antonio Williams Lands On Practice Squad
3 years agoBuffalo Bills running back Antonio Williams failed to make the 53-man roster on Tuesday. He was released by the team, but brought back on the practice squad on Wednesday. Williams was a surprising cut because he does have some upside. The 23-year-old is unlikely to have a role in 2021. Both Devin Singletary and Zack Moss are expected to split the carries, while Matt Breida serves as depth at the third string spot. It would take a few injuries or dreadful performances for Williams to get into action in Buffalo. Despite that, Williams is someone worth watching in deep leagues or dynasty formats. The Bills don't have a reliable option, so possibly Williams gets a chance down the road.
