Antonio Gibson Scores Game-Tying Touchdown Late In Week 16
11 months agoWashington Commanders running back Antonio Gibson had nine carries for 30 yards and a touchdown along with one catch for two yards during Sunday's loss to the New York Jets. Despite posting an underwhelming yardage total, Gibson ended up salvaging his day with a game-tying touchdown during the fourth quarter. Although starter Brian Robinson Jr. (hamstring) missed his second straight game, the fourth-year running back still split touches with rookie Chris Rodriguez Jr. If Robinson misses another game in Week 17, it's going to be hard to trust Gibson as anything more than a low-end flex.
