1 month agoToronto Maple Leafs goaltender Anthony Stolarz is the team's projected starter for Friday's tilt against Washington. The Maple Leafs close out the week with a back-to-back, and Stolarz is set to handle the first leg. Joseph Woll will likely be between the sticks in Saturday's matchup against Pittsburgh. Stolarz already boasts one win from this week, having beaten Chicago 4-1 with 27 saves on Monday. He's flipped between wins and losses over his last five starts. Despite his recent inconsistency, Stolarz is sporting a good 8-4-2 record. He has allowed 2.23 goals with a fantastic .924 save percentage and one shutout.
