Anthony Rendon's Three Hits Key Thrilling Comeback
5 years agoWashington Nationals third baseman Anthony Rendon went 3-for-5 with one home run, two doubles and three runs scored in the Nationals 7-3 win over the Dodgers in Game 5 of the NLDS. Rendon was a menace the entire game, slugging a home run to bring Washington to within one run in the eighth inning and then doubling to set up a go-ahead grand slam from Howie Kendrick. Rendon has been elite offensively all season and now is slashing .350/.423/.650 in the postseason. The impending free agent will continue to be a major X-factor towards the Nationals success against the Cardinals in the NLCS.
