Anthony Rendon Off To Scorching Spring Start
5 years agoLos Angeles Angels third baseman Anthony Rendon already is making an impact on his new team. Through his first four spring games, Rendon is 4-for-6 with one home run, four runs batted in and four runs scored. Rendon agreed to a seven-year, $245 million dollar contract in the offseason and is being brought in to protect all-world talent Mike Trout in the lineup. The 29-year-old had an elite season last year, slashing .319/.412/.598 with 34 home runs, 44 doubles, 117 runs scored and 126 runs batted in. Rendon is already hitting ropes around the diamond and should be scooped off fantasy draft boards in the first two rounds.
