Anthony Mantha Pockets Two, Scores Overtime Winner

Detroit Red Wings forward Anthony Mantha scored two goals late in Saturday night's win over the Golden Knights, including the game-winner in overtime. Mantha now has 19 goals on the season and is on the cusp of reaching the 20 goal plateau for the second consecutive season. The pair of goals snapped a six-game pointless streak for Mantha and highlights how streaky he has been, as it was his fifth pointless streak of at least four games this season despite averaging 0.58 points per game. Mantha is generating shots at the highest rate of his career (2.85 shots per game) but converting at the lowest shooting percentage of his career as well (11.1 percent). That combination likely means more productive scoring days are ahead for Mantha.
