Anthony Edwards To Play On Monday
1 year agoMinnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards (illness) will play during Monday's game against the Charlotte Hornets. Edwards was a late addition to the injury report due to an illness. Despite that, Edwards will be able to suit up and should play his normal role during Monday's contest. Nickeil Alexander-Walker was going to see a bump in value with Edwards out. However, he should remain relevant in the rotation with Mike Conley (hamstring) sidelined for this game.

Anthony Edwards Back In Action Against Phoenix
4 weeks agoMinnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards (calf) will play on Sunday against Phoenix. He wasn't available for Friday's loss to the Jazz because of a calf injury, marking his third absence of the 2024-25 campaign. Terrence Shannon Jr. entered the starting lineup, finishing with an impressive 17 points, five assists and four boards. But with Edwards and Julius Randle (groin) back in the mix, Shannon likely won't be as productive, although he's played well enough to at least see some minutes on Sunday night.

Anthony Edwards Suspended, Will Miss Friday's Game
1 month agoMinnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards (suspension) has been suspended for receiving his 16th technical foul of the season and will miss Friday's game against the Utah Jazz. This is only a one-game suspension, so he should return on Sunday to face the Phoenix Suns. In the meantime, Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Terrence Shannon Jr. should both see added time, especially if Donte DiVincenzo (questionable - toe) doesn't suit up. Alexander-Walker posted 14 points, two rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one block while Shannon had 25 points, five rebounds, and two assists in their last game on Thursday.

Anthony Edwards Tagged As Questionable For Thursday
1 month agoMinnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards (calf) is listed as questionable ahead of Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers. Edwards has been dealing with a sore right calf lately, but it hasn't forced him to the sideline. He has played in six straight games and nearly notched a triple-double during his last two games. The expectation is that Edwards is going to be out there, barring any setbacks. If he sits, Nickeil Alexander-Walker would likely start and see increased fantasy value.

Anthony Edwards Good To Go Friday
1 month agoMinnesota Timberwolves guard/forward Anthony Edwards (hip) will play on Friday against the Houston Rockets. The three-time All-Star has been a regular on the injury report lately due to a hip issue, and the team initially listed him as questionable. However, Alan Horton of Timberwolves Radio reports that head coach Chris Finch has confirmed that Edwards will play. On Friday, Edwards faces a challenging matchup against a top defensive team, but Houston has struggled to contain him. Over the previous three games this season, Edwards has averaged 31.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.7 blocks against the Rockets.
