Anthony Edwards Notches 29 Points In Wednesday's Loss
4 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards had an inefficient scoring night on Wednesday against Dallas but managed to rack up a team-high 29 points in a 128-108 loss. He shot 9-for-22 from the field and 3-for-12 from behind the arc with an 8-for-9 record at the foul line. Edwards' work included five rebounds, three assists and one steal in 37 minutes. The first pick of last year's draft has finally started to produce some big offensive outings, and he even had 42 points in a game last week. The Timberwolves are out of playoff contention again and can fully focus on developing young talent. They face fellow-strugglers Houston next in a back-to-back set, which provides Edwards with another good opportunity to show what he can do.
