Anthony Edwards Enjoys Another 30-Point Outing
2 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves guard/forward Anthony Edwards made it back-to-back 30-point games from himself on Sunday against OKC, finishing a 116-106 victory with 30 points on 13-for-19 shooting. He led all scorers in the contest, with his work including a nice 3-for-7 success rate from three-point range. The former first-overall pick added 11 rebounds for his first double-double of the campaign and completed his line with three assists, one steal and four turnovers. Edwards had only 11 points in last week's season opener against the Thunder, but he's bounced back superbly and will try to stay hot Monday night against the Spurs. San Antonio shocked Philadelphia at the weekend, but there's not a lot of quality in the team and the Timberwolves even face them three times this week.
