Anthony DeSclafani Serves Up Three Homers Monday
3 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Anthony DeSclafani gave up three solo homers in a 3-2 loss Monday to the Dodgers. The 31-year-old was tagged twice to start the game by Mookie Betts and Max Muncy to give the Dodgers a quick 2-0 lead. DeSclafani lasted five innings, surrendering three earned runs, five hits and two walks while striking out six on 86 pitches. DeSclafani is in the midst of a breakout season, pairing an 8-3 record with a 2.91 ERA and 1.03 WHIP over 92 2/3 innings. DeSclafani will look to rebound Saturday in a juicy matchup with the Arizona Diamondbacks.
