3 years agoThe San Francisco Giants placed starting pitcher Anthony DeSclafani (ankle) on the 10-day injured list on Friday due to right ankle inflammation. The injury flared up for the 32-year-old during his start against the New York Mets on Thursday. The Giants called up fellow right-hander Jakob Junis to fill his roster spot. While it hasn't been announced yet, there's a good chance we'll see Junis start this coming Tuesday against the Oakland Athletics, the next game DeSclafani had been scheduled to start. DeSclafani has struggled out of the gate this year. Over three starts, he has a 6.08 ERA and a 1.80 WHIP.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
