Anthony Davis Wins Player Of The Week Honors
2 years agoThere was really little doubt that Los Angeles Lakers center Anthony Davis would be named the Western Conference's Player of the Week after he dropped 44 and 55 points, respectively, in consecutive games. Davis notched a double-double in all four of last week's contests, averaging 37.8 points and 13 rebounds in that span. On top of the dominant scoring and boards, Davis also blocked at least three shots per game, shooting 65.2% from the field overall. Davis' fantasy upside has always been tied to his ability to stay healthy, which he has excelled at thus far in 2022-23; he enters play Monday on pace to set a new career high in scoring (28.6 PPG) and leading the league in rebounds per game (12.8).
