Anthony Davis Expected To Play On Wednesday
12 months agoLos Angeles Lakers forward/center Anthony Davis (knee) is expected to be in the lineup as the team completes a back-to-back against the Wizards on Wednesday. Davis recorded a 21-point, 12-rebound double-double with 10-for-20 shooting in Tuesday's 128-111 win over Toronto, logging 28 minutes of action. The veteran star missed the second leg of a back-to-back last week, but that came following a 52-minute outing, and it looks like he will be good to go this time around versus Washington. Davis should dominate against a team that allows centers to shoot over 60 percent from the field and gives up a league-high 17.7 rebounds per 48 minutes to the position.

Anthony Davis To Remain On Minutes Restriction Monday
2 days agoDallas Mavericks forward/center Anthony Davis (adductor) has been cleared to play in Monday's contest against the Brooklyn Nets, but his minutes will continue to be monitored. The plan is to use Davis for 25 to 28 minutes. Over his previous three games since returning from injury, Davis has averaged 28.3 minutes a night, posting 15.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.0 blocks, and 1.0 steals. Although the minutes restriction limits Davis' fantasy potential, it's great to see him back on the court, and he could still do serious damage against Brooklyn's weak defense.

Anthony Davis Available On Saturday Night
4 days agoDallas Mavericks forward/center Anthony Davis (adductor) will play on Saturday against the Bulls. Fantasy managers will likely see him on the injury report for the remainder of the regular season and into the playoffs/Play-In, assuming Dallas makes it that far. But at least fantasy managers will know they'll have him in the lineup on Saturday night. Davis struggled in Thursday's win over the Orlando Magic, amassing 15 points while shooting a rough 5-for-19 from the field. Fortunately, there's a good chance AD will turn it around versus the Bulls, a team that has allowed 119.7 points per contest this season, the third-worst average in the National Basketball Association.

Anthony Davis To Be Restricted To 24-28 Minutes Thursday
6 days agoDallas Mavericks forward/center Anthony Davis (adductor) will return to action on Thursday against the Orlando Magic but will have a minutes restriction. Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd told reporters pregame that Davis will be limited to 24-28 minutes. When Davis ended an 18-game absence on Monday against the Brooklyn Nets, he played 27 minutes and recorded 12 points with six rebounds and three assists. The 10-time All-Star can certainly do damage with fewer than 30 minutes on the court, but Davis will not deliver full value to fantasy managers against the Magic.

Anthony Davis Questionable For Thursday Night
7 days agoDallas Mavericks forward/center Anthony Davis (adductor) is questionable for Thursday's meeting with the Orlando Magic. AD recently returned to the lineup for Monday's win over Brooklyn after spending time on the shelf because of a strained adductor. He played well despite being limited to only 26 minutes, ending the night with 12 points, six rebounds, one steal, and one block. As expected, Davis sat out the following night in the loss to the Knicks, opening the door for Kai Jones to enter the starting lineup and finish with nine points, eight rebounds, one steal, and one block. If Davis is ruled out again, fantasy managers should expect to see Jones back with the first five, increasing his fantasy upside for managers.
